Our team has decades of recruitment and business growth experience backed up by insights into the latest techniques and technology. In a market like this one it’s hard to prosper if you don’t have an edge. Supported by the Flair Business Growth Consultancy the Blue Bay team has a unique combination of skills and experience that gives our members that edge.
Adrian Mansfield
Co-founder
An experienced recruiter and business leader both here and abroad.
Adrian has built and run his own recruitment business so knows the pitfalls & benefits. He’s also worked for recruitment companies so understands the benefits & frustrations of working within an agency.
Outside of work Adrian played and coached rugby at a high level, is an Everton fan and a keen golfer with a handicap of 5. He has a daughter he loves to spend time with.
Mike Ames
Chairman
Mike brings a wealth of knowledge about recruitment, business growth and corporate governance.
He has built and sold two recruitment companies from scratch. The first was sold for a headline price of £24m and the second for £15m. His specialisation is winning new clients and maximising revenue streams.
Mike is married, has three children (two of whom you’ll meet in a minute) and two grand kids. He enjoys golf, veggie gardening and is a proud Wolves supporter.
Melaine Painter
Practice Manager
Melanie is the backbone of the company. She runs the back office operations of administration and accounts for our members.
If our members want anything done they’ll probably turn to Melanie first.
Melanie is married with two beautiful daughters and a crazy dog. She’s also a very keen gardener with much greener fingers than Mike!
Kirsty Ames
Multi-media Manager
Kirsty produces our video and audio content and can help any of our members who want to present a richer brand to their clients.
She also produces many of the micro-courses that are available free of charge to our members.
Outside work Kirsty is a very keen traveller with friends as far apart as California, Berlin, and New Zealand.
Peter Ames
Communictions Manager
If you want to use the latest communications tools to get your messages to your clients, prospects and candidates you would turn to Peter.
He also produces content to help our members add value and start conversations with new prospects.
He’s married with one daughter and enjoys running, music festivals and catching up on his sleep.
